Prof. Ananiadou appointed as Senior Area Chair for ACL 2023 and IJCNLP-AACL 2023

Prof. Sophia Ananiadou, director of NaCTeM, has been appointed as Senior Area Chair for two prestigious conferences in 2023:
- Senior Area Chair for NLP Applications at ACL 2023 conference. This is the 61st Annual Meeting of the Association for Computational Linguistics, and was held in Toronto, Canada from July 9th to July 14th, 2023.
- Senior Area Chair for Text mining and Information Retrieval at IJCNLP-AACL 2023. This is the 13th International Joint Conference on Natural Language Processing and the 3rd Conference of the Asia-Pacific Chapter of the Association for Computational Linguistics, and will be held in Bali, Indonesia from November 1st to 4th, 2023.
