Invited Talk at CHAIfest

Sophia Ananiadou, director of NacTeM, will give an invited talk entitled Advancing Trustworthy AI for Mental Health: From Emotion Detection to Explanation at CHAIfest, which will take place at the Core Technology Facility, University of Manchester on Tuesday 2nd June 2026.

The conference will bring together researchers, clinicians, industry partners and members of the public to explore the rapidly evolving role of causal AI in healthcare. Through keynotes, interactive roundtables, and a lively panel discussion, CHAIfest aims to spark meaningful conversations and build a collaborative community around trustworthy, clinically impactful AI.
