Title: | Towards Intelligent Information Extraction for Bioliterature |
Date: | 12:00, Thursday 14th April |
Location: | Room F10, MSS Building |
Abstract: | This talk will give an introduction to the efforts of the Natural Language Synergy Lab, I2R(Singapore) in developing intelligent information extraction technologies for bio-literature. Higher performance, adaptability and scalability issues have been addressed for Name Entity Recognition, Co-reference Resolution and Relationship Extraction so far. Various linguistic features/phenomena have been explored on raw and annotated corpus for deeper understanding of corresponding language problems. Both supervised and unsupervised machine learning approaches have been further studied in order to come up with effective solutions. |
