NaCTeM mentioned in Nature journal

NaCTeM was recently mentioned in Nature, the international weekly journal of science.
The article is by Peter Pormann (Director of the John Rylands Research Institute and Professor of Classics and Graeco-Arabic Studies), who describes how various technologies are being used to realise the research potential of the special collections of the University of Manchester's John Rylands Library.
Given the size and diversity of these collections, the article explains how, once these big data have been digitised using sophisticated techniques, text mining is a vital part of analysing and making sense of the data contained within them. The text mining analysis of the special collections is being realised through a collaboration between the John Rylands Research Institute has begun to collaborate with NaCTeM.
