What is currently integrated into Cheshire?
A variety of tools are already available within our system at NaCTeM, these include:
- Termine– A term extraction tool to analyse a document and provide the user with a ranked list of important multi-word terms.
- Genia– A component of the main Genia project to annotate a document with the appropriates parts-of-speech useful for detailed natural language processing.
- Enju - A parsing tool to analyse the syntactic and semantic structure of an English sentence to provide a user with predicate-argument relationships between the words.
- SRB - The Storage Resource Broker provides an abstraction layer to data storage to allow information to be maintained in multiple locations, provide automatic backups as well as scaling beyond the petabyte range – much larger than any single physical storage device.
