NaCTeM tools and services underpin new postgraduate taught MSc programmes

The School of Computer Science at the University of Manchester has launched a range of new postgraduate taught MSc programmes for 2010-2011 entry. These include an MSc in Advanced Computer Science with specialisation in Natural Language Processing. One of the major themes available within this programme is Text Mining. This theme will be delivered by academic members of NaCTeM and the School's Text Mining Research Group. Students will benefit not only from instruction by leaders in this field, but also from exposure to the practicalities of Text Mining, as NaCTeM tools, services, software components, resources and workflow environments will be exploited in support of practical teaching and learning, and will be available for dissertation project work.
