We report a case of recurrent
non-Hodgkin's lymphoma
presenting as anterior
knee pain
due to pathological fracture of the patella. Anterior knee pains is an extremely common presenting complaint at orthopaedic clinics and the patella is an infrequent site both for primary and recurrent tumours. This case, treated by patellectomy, illustrates the difficulty of treatment of these lesions and highlights the importance of adequate radiological assessment in sites of previous tumour involvement.
