is the name applied by Vawter and Tefft to congenital tumors of the parotid gland. These tumors are highly uncommon, and they must not be confused with malignant tumors--i.e., cylindroma, embryonal carcinoma, or
teratoma
. Alone, complete surgical exeresis is necessary without radiation or chemotherapy. Two observations of embryoma are reported because of the diagnostic and therapeutic problems involved.
