in the upper thoracic region. With a two-staged operation that complicating with profuse intraoperative bleeding, decompressive curettage and stabilization of the vertebral column were assured. However, abrupt neurologic deterioration occurred because of rebleeding with spinal cord compression 1 month postoperatively.
