Cerebral dominance anomalies or lefthanded percentage are significantly increased in case of allergy or other immunological diseases, in dyslexia and stuttering. ENT is particularly interested in this association which has been described and explained by Geschwind and Galaburda, because immunological components of chronic rhinopharyngitis must be specially suspected on a young lefthanded child, and because dichotic tests may presently easily performed.
