This is a case report of a woman who had chronic lymphedema on one leg and who developed a primary cutaneous large
B-cell lymphoma
of the leg at that site. She received radiotherapy and did not show any systemic involvement thereafter. Other neoplasms may appear in a clinical setting of chronic lymphedema, namely,
lymphangiosarcoma
(Stewart-Treves), melanoma, and metastatic carcinoma. There are four other reports in the English literature of cutaneous lymphoma arising in an extremity with chronic lymphedema.
