A 62-year-old man consulted our hospital complaining of macroscopic hematuria. Intravenous urography showed a dilated terminal portion of the left ureter resembling a cobra head. Cystoscopy revealed multiple tumors on the ureterocele. There were no metastatic lesions on CT and MRI. Transurethral resection of the tumor and the ureterocele was performed and the pathological examination revealed transitional cell carcinoma on the ureterocele. This is the 4th case of urothelial cancer on a simple ureterocele reported in Japan.

Prolapse of the ureterocele and its presentation as a vulval mass is an extremely rare condition. There are no detailed imaging findings of such cases in the literature. We present voiding cystourethrography and MRI findings of a newborn girl with a ureterocele extending through the urethra.

Stress urinary incontinence (SUI) is a common problem in women. Successful treatment is now mid urethral sling but it would be a cause of urethral obstruction. In this case report, a 50 years old woman presented with a huge introitus mass after 3 months of midurethral sling. The mass protruded from the urethra and could not be reduced. Emergency MRI of pelvis was demonstrated prolapsed ureterocele, single system of right ureter. Preoperative planning was cystoscopy and mass excision. The patient was preoperatively counseled that right ureteric reimplantation may be required. Finally, the mass could be excised externally without reimplantation.

A 60-year-old man with prostate adenocarcinoma status post radical prostatectomy and bilateral pelvic lymph node dissection referred for restaging F-fluciclovine PET/CT due to rising serum prostate-specific antigen levels (1.1 ng/mL at that time of imaging). PET/CT images were obtained from the proximal thighs to the vertex of the skull approximately 3 to 5 minutes after the IV administration of 347.8 MBq (9.4 mCi) of F-fluciclovine. PET/CT imaging demonstrated a focus of abnormally increased F-fluciclovine uptake at the right ureterovesical junction. Subsequent MRI of the pelvis revealed that this focus corresponded to a benign ureterocele.
