The authors describe a rare case of orbital
rhabdomyoma
in a 3-year-old girl who presented with progressive proptosis of the left eye. An axial computed tomographic scan of the left orbit demonstrated an irregular retrobulbar mass. The tumor was resected locally from the lateral wall of the orbit and the resected specimens were diagnosed as orbital
rhabdomyoma
. The authors review the literature and discuss the diagnostic implications and treatment strategies.
