Trental
was injected near the mastoid process after preinjection with lidase (total dose no more than 1 ml on each side, 6 sessions per course). The treatment normalized the immune status, clinical symptoms regressed sooner than after treatment with an antiviral agent bonafton, remissions were prolonged, and in 5 out of 18 patients no more relapses occurred.
