, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), affective disorders, eating disorders, anxiety disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorder, suicide and Alzheimer's disease (AD). Different studies have tested for genetic association (case-control and family-based studies), protein expression (receptor binding assays), transcriptional expression (mRNA assays) and allelic expression. In this review we examine and summarize these findings in various neuropsychiatric phenotypes.
