48 dumbbell like neurinoma at upper cervical vertebra were totally removed operatively and confirmed pathologically. Intermittent pain at neck and occiput limitation of neck movement, and numbness or pain at one or both side limbs were the most common symptoms. In the early stage, the disease was difficalt to recognize. If X-ray film of the cervical vertebra at bioblique position showed an enlarged intervertebral foramen, the diagnosis of neurinoma should be highly considered. MRI could make a definite diagnosis. Vertebral artery angiography is of great value. We also introduced experience in how to protect vertebral artery and respiratory function during operation.

Venous disease and venous leg ulcers are frequently painful. The pain experienced may be constant or intermittent. Constant pain can originate from vascular structures (superficial, deep phlebitis), pitting edema, collagen (lipodermatosclerosis), infection, or scarring (atrophie blanche). Ulcer region pain is often episodic and may be due to surgical or other debridement procedures. Intermittent pain is often related to dressing removal or recent applications of new dressings. An approach to pain control will consider the cause of pain and utilize local measures, regional approaches to edema control, and systemic medication aimed at constant, episodic, or intermittent pain triggers.

In this study, we aimed to explore the effect of high-intensity focused ultrasound (HIFU) ablation on endometriosis of the abdominal wall. A total of 25 patients with abdominal wall endometriosis were selected after HIFU treatment, and their demographic characteristics were retrospectively analyzed. The blood perfusion of focus before operation and the focus ablation during or after operation were evaluated using ultrasound contrast, and follow-up for 24 months. Thirty lesions were ablated in 25 patients. Intermittent pain disappeared 1 month after the operation, and patients' pain score significantly decreased, while the shrink ratio of lesions significantly increased with prolonged follow-up time. No severe complications were noted. HIFU ablation of abdominal wall endometriosis is an effective and safe method, with obvious long-term effects, and showed a significant guiding effect on the treatment of abdominal wall adenomyosis in the clinical setting.
