Leukemia cutis
(LC) is defined as infiltration of the skin by leukemic cells resulting in clinically recognizable cutaneous lesions. It is common in congenital
leukemia
and acute myeloid leukemia. However, LC has rarely been reported with mixed phenotypic acute leukemia (MPAL). We report the case of a lady who presented with erythematous papular and nodular lesions all over the body. Skin biopsy showed leukemic infiltration and bone marrow aspiration showed MPAL of the T/myeloid with monocytic differentiation lineage. This is the first report of an adult patient with MPAL of the T/myeloid with monocytic differentiation type presenting with
leukemia
cutis. She was started on chemotherapy with Hyper-CVAD. There is complete resolution of the skin lesions and she has achieved bone marrow remission after the first cycle of chemotherapy.

Chronic lymphocytic leukemia, the most common adult
leukemia
worldwide, is considered an indolent but incurable non-Hodgkin lymphoma.
Leukemia cutis
is an uncommon manifestation of chronic lymphocytic leukemia. We present a case of an adult patient who presented with skin lesion of bilateral ears, which led to the diagnosis of chronic lymphocytic leukemia. We also reviewed the cases of auricular involvement in chronic lymphocytic leukemia patients reported in the literature. Local treatment is indicated in case of
leukemia
cutis; however, systemic treatment is recommended when there are systemic signs and symptoms. Better awareness of disease evolution and prompt diagnosis of this
leukemia
cutis of chronic lymphocytic leukemia will improve the effectiveness and outcome of its management.

Leukemia cutis
(LC) is an extramedullary manifestationof
leukemia
owing to cutaneous infiltration ofneoplastic cells resulting in characteristic firm, erythematous nodules. Most cases of LC occur inpatients with acute myelogenous leukemia andchronic myelogenous leukemia. However in rarecases, LC has presented in patients with acutelymphoblastic
leukemia
(ALL). In these rare ALLassociatedcases, only 10 cases of precursor-B-ALL(pre-B-ALL) have been described in the literature. We report a case of a 22-year-old man with relapsingpre-B-ALL who presented with a 4-day history ofmultiple asymptomatic, soft, dome-shaped, lipomalikemounds on his scalp and chin, which exhibitedcutaneous involvement by leukemic cells. To date, thisis the first case of pre-B-ALL associated
leukemia
cutispresenting as soft, dome-shaped mounds resemblinglipomas.

Plasma cell leukemia is an uncommon, aggressive variant of
leukemia
that may occur de novo or in association with multiple myeloma.
Leukemia cutis
is the cutaneous manifestation of
leukemia
, and indicates an infiltration of the skin by malignant leukocytes or their precursors. Plasma cell leukemia cutis is a rare clinical presentation of
leukemia
. We present a man who developed plasma cell leukemia cutis in association with multiple myeloma. Cutaneous nodules developed on his arms and legs 50 days following an autologous stem cell transplant. Histopathologic examination showed CD138-positive nodular aggregates of atypical plasma cells with kappa light chain restriction, similar to the phenotype of his myeloma. In spite of systemic treatment of his underlying disease, he died 25 days after the presentation of
leukemia
cutis. Pub-Med was searched for the following terms: cutaneous plasmacytomas,
leukemia
cutis, plasma cell leukemia nodules, plasma cell leukemia cutis, and secondary cutaneous plasmacytoma. Papers were reviewed and appropriate references evaluated.
Leukemia cutis
in plasma cell leukemia patients is an infrequent occurrence. New skin lesions in patients with plasma cell leukemia should be biopsied for pathology and for tissue cultures to evaluate for cancer or infection, respectively. The diagnosis plasma cell leukemia cutis is associated with a very poor prognosis.

The classification of myeloid neoplasms has undergone major changes and currently relies heavily on genetic abnormalities. Cutaneous manifestations of myeloid neoplasms may be the presenting sign of underlying bone marrow disease. Dermal infiltration by neoplastic cells may occur in otherwise normal skin or in sites of cutaneous inflammation.
Leukemia cutis
occasionally precedes evidence of blood and/or bone marrow involvement (aleukemic
leukemia
cutis).

Leukemia cutis
is uncommon in patients with acute lymphoblastic leukemia. It typically presents with dermal papules or subcutaneous nodules, with no epidermal or upper papillary dermal involvement on histopathology. We present an unusual clinical presentation of
leukemia
cutis, with annular plaques and epidermotropism.

Leukaemia cutis
or cutaneous infiltration of neoplastic myeloid or lymphoid cells is usually seen in the acute myelomonocytic and acute monocytic variants of acute myeloid leukaemia. Here, we report a case of acute promyelocytic
leukaemia
who achieved remission, presenting with skin lesions, the biopsy of which revealed
leukaemia
cutis, heralding the relapse of the disease. After establishing the diagnosis with bone marrow analysis, the patient was started on daunorubicin chemotherapy along with arsenic trioxide and all-trans retinoic acid. Afterwards, the skin lesions resolved, and the patient is planned for consolidation with bone marrow transplantation.

Leukemia cutis
(LC), a rare cutaneous manifestation of
leukemia
, can precede, follow, occur concurrently with, or present in the absence of (aleukemic) systemic
leukemia
.
Leukemia cutis
is especially rare as the presenting symptom of
leukemia
and is associated with a poor prognosis. Although more commonly seen in acute leukemias of myeloid and monocytic lineage, lymphocytic/lymphoblastic leukemias can also involve the skin. Three cases of LC presented with diverse skin lesions ranging from an erythematous rash to violaceous macules and papules to subcutaneous nodules. One case clinically mimicked fixed drug eruption. All the patients had acute myeloid leukemia (AML). Lesions showed two overarching histologic patterns: atypical perivascular infiltrate or nodular dermal histiocytoid infiltrate. Our cases expressed myeloperoxidase (MPO), a helpful marker to distinguish myeloid from non-myeloid cells, and CD68, a monocytic marker frequently expressed in cutaneous AML. CD14, a marker of monocyte maturity, was negative. In the absence of systemic
leukemia
, common diagnostic tools for hematologic malignancies such as bone marrow biopsy and flow cytometry are non-contributory, making morphologic and immunohistochemical analysis of the skin lesions key to diagnosis.

Leukaemia cutis
is a relatively rare manifestation in chronic lymphocytic leukaemia, characterized by a diverse morphology of skin lesions. We report two patients who developed zosteriform skin symptoms; however, the histological analysis revealed
leukaemia
infiltration as the cause of their symptoms. Contrary to previous reports, varicella zoster virus DNA was detectable in the lesions. These findings suggest that varicella zoster virus plays an active role in the development of zosteriform
leukaemia
cutis.

Leukemia cutis
, or infiltration of leukemic cells into the skin, occurs rarely in B-cell acute lymphocytic leukemia (ALL). Herein, we have described a rare, precocious presentation of B-cell ALL presenting as indurated facial plaques in a 69-year-old man. Biopsy of the facial plaques revealed precursor B-cell
leukemia
/lymphoma in the skin and prompted urgent hematologic-oncologic evaluation. Bone marrow biopsy yielded a final diagnosis of B-cell ALL. The patient underwent induction therapy, and at the last available follow-up, a matched unrelated donor transplant was planned.
