Wandering spleen is a very rare disease. It is a very dangerous condition due to the risk of splenic
ischemia
from persistent pedicle torsion. Here, we describe a case of wandering spleen diagnosed by ultrasound and computed tomography scans in an 11-year-old boy who suffered from frequent urination and
enuresis
. A laparoscopic splenopexy was successfully performed with fixation of the spleen in an extraperitoneal pocket. Since the operation, the organ has remained in place with good perfusion. The details of the procedure are described.
