, who was diagnosed as thyroid abscess as a result of
Klebsiella pneumoniae
. The infection in the absence of other significant history was initially considered

; however, on extensive evaluation was associated with other distant primary source of the same microbe. The patient was managed with minimally invasive drainage of abscess and intravenous antibiotics.
