Jejunoileal diverticula (JD) are an uncommon condition most prevalent in the sixth and seventh decade of life. Although mostly asymptomatic, JD can be complicated by perforation, diverticulitis, abscess, bleeding, fistula, and small bowel obstruction (SBO) secondary to enterolith formation. There are a limited number of cases describing JD complicated by SBO secondary to enterolith formation. Most of these cases are not associated with diverticulitis and multiple JD are present in all but one previously reported case. We present a case of diverticulitis of a large, isolated jejunal diverticulum complicated by
de novo
enterolith-induced SBO initially diagnosed as
intussusception
based on computerized tomography (CT) imaging. Our main objective is to increase awareness that isolated JD are not as readily evident on imaging as cases presenting with multiple JD, but nevertheless should be considered as possible etiology of
acute abdomen
.

Intussusception
is one of the common causes of
acute abdomen
in early childhood, particularly in children younger than two years of age. The majority of cases in children are idiopathic. Pathologic lead points can be identified in only 25 percent of cases. Here. we present a case of 15 months female child with Ileoileal postoperative
intussusception
with an anastomotic margin as a lead point, following resection anastomosis done for patent vitello intestinal duct. Role of high clinical suspicion, investigations and judgement are highlighted in managing the case. Keywords: Anastomosis; ileoileal; postoperative
intussusception
; patent vitello-intestinal duct.

Abdominal lymphangiectasia is a rare disease manifestation with a variety of anatomic locations and clinical presentations. The gastrointestinal tract may be affected, and lymphangiectasia originating in the wall of the intestine has rarely been described. We present a case of primary small bowel lymphangiectasia causing
intussusception
in a 30-year-old woman who presented with emesis and gastrointestinal bleeding. This case emphasizes the clinical presentation, diagnosis, and management in adults with abdominal lymphangiectasia. We highlight the importance of a high clinical suspicion for lymphangiectasia in an adult with
acute abdomen
to avoid catastrophic morbidity.

Intussusception
occurs when one portion of bowel 'telescopes' into another due to a lead point created by a range of benign or pathologic process.
Intussusception
mostly occurs in children. Although adult
intussusception
(AI) is rare, accounting for <5% of intestinal obstructions, it is more concerning in adults as malignancy accounts for nearly 65% of lead points in AI. Patients present with severe abdominal pain concerning for an
acute abdomen
along with a degree of bowel obstruction. We have experienced a total of 11 patients within recent years presenting with symptoms of an
acute abdomen
due to AI. None of these patients were found to have a pathologic process creating a lead point. However, we found that all of them were marijuana users. In this report, we compare their management, hospital course and review of the literature discussing proposed mechanisms that suggest an association between cannabis and
intussusception
.
