In the course of malignant growth processes in patients with lung cancer, a decrease of natural cytotoxic activity of peripheral blood lymphocytes was observed. This process was accompanied by changes of activities of two lysosomal enzymes, arylsulfatase and acid phosphatase, suggesting participation of these enzymes in manifestation of effector functions of lymphocytes in cancer patients.
