and potassium excretion associated with signs of glomerular swelling. Our data suggest that the kidneys of women with hypertensive pregnancies and
endotheliosis
have inappropriate intrarenal renin-angiotensin system activation, which may contribute toward the pathogenesis of hypertension and renal injury.
