Deep and shallow processing for e-Chemistry in the SciBorg project

I will give an overview of the e-Chemistry SciBorg project and related projects (FlySlip, Citraz) currently running at Cambridge Unversity. The challenges specific to chemistry texts will be illustrated, and I will argue that integration of the component tasks via a robust semantic formalism (RMRS) results in more general and robust systems.
