NaCTeM alumnus appointed Pro Vice-Chancellor for Digital Transformation at Staffordshire University

We were delighted to learn that Professor Raheel Nawaz has been appointed as Pro Vice-Chancellor for Digital Transformation at Staffordshire University. Professor Nawaz undertook his PhD at NaCTeM, under the supervision of Professor Sophia Ananiadou, which he completed in 2012. After completing his PhD, he stayed at NaCTeM for a further 12 months, working as a post-doctoral researcher on the OpenMinted project. He subsequently joined Manchester Metropolitan University, where he currently holds the roles of Director of Digital Technology Solutions and Director of Business Transformations Research Centre.
