What is Info-PubMed ?

Info-PubMed is an efficient PubMed search tool, helping users to find information about

• biomedical entities such as genes, proteins, and diseases, and
• relations between them such as protein-protein interactions and gene-disease associations.

Currently, 18,847,440 MEDLINE articles are indexed.

Info-PubMed is based on Natural Language Processing and Text Mining of MEDLINE/PubMed database, and has been developed by Tsujii Laboratory, University of Tokyo, Japan.

• Click a window to focus on

Entities, relations, and sentences

• They are draggable to some windows
• Right click to list operations
• Ctrl + Right click to disable list operations
  and to use Browser's default right click operations

Tutorial

• Find Gene Dictionary window
• Type 'cd4' in the box of the window, then click 'search'
• Then you obtain genes whose name includes 'cd4', and they are represented by the icon

  ENT ITY

• Find CD4 in the results
• Drag & drop it into My Folder to store it
• Drag & drop it into Relation Viewer to see relations around the gene
• Then you obtain relation items reprented by

• Drag some
